Eligibility Criteria for Shillong Customs Group C Recruitment 2017

Education and Qualification

•  Launch Mechanic
  i) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
  ii) Five years service on seagoing vessel with one year independent charge of engine and auxiliary machinery
•  Sukhani
  i) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
   ii) Seven years service on sea going vessel with 2 years experience in independent handling ofmechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails.
•  Seaman
  i) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
  ii) Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessels with two years in helmsman and seamanship work
•  Greaser
  i) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
  ii) Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessels on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
•  Tradesman
   i) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
  ii) I.T.I. certificate in Mechanical/Diesel/Mechani/Fitter/Turner/Welder/ Electrician/ Instrumental/Carpentry.
  iii) 2 years experience in Engineering/Automobile/Ship Repair Organisation

Age Limit

• Candidates should age limit Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years.
