Educational Qualifications
Interested candidates those want to apply for JKSSB Assistant, Operator, Inspector posts should have completed Degree of 10+2, 10th, 12th, B.Sc, Graduate, ITI or must have an equivalent from Recognized Board/University.
- Computer Assistant : Graduation with one-year Diploma in Computer Software applications or B.Sc IT/ BCA or three years diploma in computer applications/ Software applications from an AICTE recognized institution.
- Junior Assistant : Graduation from any recognized university with Knowledge of Type having not less than 35 words speed per minute in typewriting on the keyboard.
- Electrician Grade-II : Minimum Matric and Maximum 10+2 with Diploma in the relevant Trade from ITI/ Government Recognized Institute.
- Mechanic : Minimum Matric and Maximum 10+2 with Diploma in the relevant Trade from ITI/ Government Recognized Institute.
- Junior Microbiologist : Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from a University established in India by Law.
- Inspector : Bachelor’s degree with Science subject at 10+2 level & with Physical standards.
- FPF Guard : 10+2 level & with the Physical standards.
- Driver Gr.II : Minimum Matric and Maximum 10+2 having HGV/ PSV driving license.
- Rent Collector : Matriculate or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute.
- Field Assistant II/ Lab Assistant : 10+2 with Science Subject with one year Basic Agri.Training Course (BAT).
- Plant Protection Operator : 10+2 with Science Subject with one year Basic Agri.Training Course (BAT).
- Seed Examiner : Graduate with Science and Junior Sericulture Course(JSC).
- Receptionist : 10+2 with 3 years Diploma in Hotel Management from a recognized Institute of Hotel Management.
- Telephone Operator : Matric with ITI/ diploma in electronics and communication trade.
Pump Operator : Matric with a diploma from ITI in the relevant trade from the government-recognized Institute. - Plumber : Matric with a diploma from ITI in the relevant trade from the Government recognized Institute.

- Veterinary Pharmacist : B.Sc. from a recognized University having Zoology as one of the subjects.
- Deputy Inspector/ Equivalent : B.Sc. Medical(Zoology) or B.Sc Industrial Fish & Fisheries from a recognized University/ Institute.
- Electrician : Matric with ITI Trained in Electrical Trade.
- Grinder operator : Matric with ITI Trained in Mechanical Trade.
- Mechanic/ Mistri : Matric with ITI Trained in Mechanical Trade.
- Carpenter/ Mistri-II : Matric with ITI in carpentry Trade with five years of experience.
- Driver : Minimum Matric and Maximum 10+2 having HGV/PSV driving license.
- Social Forestry Worker Academic =Matric. Physical standard (Height= 163cms) . Physical fitness =25 km walk to be completed in 4 hours Physical fitness certificate from CMO.
- Wildlife Guard : Minimum Matric and Maximum 10+2 from recognized Institutions.
- Forester : 10+2 or equivalent qualification with science subject with the Physical standards.
